New Year's Resolutions: A Positive or Negative Tradition?

New Year's Resolutions: A Positive or Negative Tradition?

Happy New Year!

The start of a new year often brings a surge of motivation and a desire for positive change. We've noticed the ongoing discussions on social media about the effectiveness of New Year's resolutions. Some say they're overrated, fleeting promises that seldom survive which can set one up for failure resulting into negative self-sabotage. While we understand these perspectives (to an extent) and have fallen to this way of perception in past years, we do not support this trend that resolutions are negative because we firmly believe in the power of setting goals, whether it's January 1st or any other day.

Resolutions serve as a powerful tool, offering us a fresh perspective and renewed determination after the holiday season. They give us a chance to reflect on what we want to achieve and inspire us to take actionable steps toward those aspirations. Each of you possesses incredible potential, not just in your training but in every aspect of your lives. Whether your goal is to master a new technique on the mats, improve your fitness level, or embrace healthier habits, know that us coaches and the community at TMA are here to support you every step of the way.

Remember, progress isn't always about huge leaps forward. It's the small, consistent efforts that lead to significant transformations. Celebrate every milestone, no matter how small, and stay committed to your journey. As a coach, we are here not only to guide your training but also to encourage you in achieving your personal goals.

Let’s make this year phenomenal together. Cheers to a year filled with growth, strength, and triumphs!
